System requirements
User needs only laptop/personal computer connected to the high-speed internet to run the system efficiently.
Recommended web browser to use: Google Chrome.
How to access the scoring system
To access the system go to egovrate.org. You have two options for using the scoring system:
Option 1: Using the System with an Account
If you want to save your drafted questionnaire to complete it later or save the scoring results in PDF format for future reference, you need to create a user account. Here’s how:
- Click the "Log in" button on the main page.
- You will be prompted to enter your email address (this will be your login) and create a password.
- After signing up, you will receive a registration confirmation email. Click the link in the email to confirm and complete the registration process.
- Once registered, you can access your user cabinet, where you can:
- Create a new project and then start a new report inside the cabinet.
- This will redirect you to the Scoring page where you can begin the questionnaire.
- Inside your cabinet, you can save drafted questionnaires and access saved PDF results at any time, allowing you to compare the progress of assessed e-government portal(s) over time.
Option 2: Using the System without an Account
You can start the questionnaire without creating a user account by simply clicking the "Scoring" on the main page.
- In this case, you can complete the questionnaire in one sessionwithout signing up or logging in.
- However, please note the following limitations:
- You cannot save drafted questionnaires to continue later.
- You cannot save PDF-formatted scoring results inside a user cabinet for future reference or progress comparison.
- Data is saved only during the session and will be lost once the session ends.
- After completing the questionnaire, you will be able to save the scoring results as a PDF file directly from the Results page.
Switching from Guest to Registered User
At any stage of filling out the questionnaire, you have the option to create an account or sign in. By doing so, you can:
- Save your progress and continue later.
- Store PDF-formatted results in your cabinet for future reference and comparison.
To do this, simply enter your sign in details (email, password) or "Sign up" button when the pop-up window appears, and follow the steps shown. Your current progress and results will be saved and linked to your existed or new account.
